State Capital Region (SCR) Lucknow as India’s urban centers expand, the need for sustainable and inclusive development becomes critical. Recognising this, the Uttar Pradesh government has set the wheels in motion for a transformative plan—the State Capital Region (SCR) centred around Lucknow. Led by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA), this initiative envisions a roadmap that brings equitable development to six districts: Lucknow, Sitapur, Hardoi, Unnao, Rae Bareli, and Barabanki.
